If you do not receive any response to your registration request, or have misplaced the written confirmation of attendance and website login access received following successful registration, please contact the organisers at info@moiforums.gov.bh.

Visas

Nationals of GCC (Gulf Co-operation Council) states do not need a visa to enter Bahrain.  All other nationals attending the Forum and Exhibition will require a visa.

All participants who have been successfully registered for the Forum and received confirmation of attendance from the organisers will be provided with a visa free of charge for the duration of the Forum.

In order to obtain a visa on your behalf, the organisers will require an electronic copy of various pages of your passport (which must be valid at least until end-August 2009) and a passport photograph.  Details of where to forward these will be contained in the written confirmation provided to you by the organisers when you are registered.

Accommodation

Bahrain’s hotels include international chains such as the Ritz-Carlton, Crowne Plaza, Inter-Continental, Sheraton, Radisson SAS and Movenpick, as well as equally reputed local and regional hotels such as the Gulf Hotel.

The Forum organisers have obtained special rates at a number of the above hotels.  Availability remains on a first-come basis.  Further details can be obtained from the organisers at info@moiforums.gov.bh.  In your email, please state the nights on which you require accommodation.

Getting around

All participants will be provided with free transfers to and from Bahrain International Airport and the Forum venue or your choice of hotel.

Meals

All participants will be provided with lunch on both days of the Forum.  Participants will also be invited to attend a “Bahrain night” reception and dinner on the first night.  Details of whom to contact in case of any special dietary requirements will be provided with your written confirmation of attendance from the organisers.

Dress code

Participants are requested to dress formally for the Forum and Exhibition, either in suits or similar traditional or national dress or uniform.  This includes for the lunches and the “Bahrain night”.

Outside of the Forum, Bahrain has no formal dress code and has always been a tolerant society.  You may nevertheless wish to dress conservatively in public places.
